The Olympics are on very soon Old Boys and our own five-time OB Olympian, Pietro Figlioli (2001), will be leading Italy in their quest for Gold.
An Ashgrove man always, last year Pietro very generously sent a video (decked out in his Ashgrove gear) encouraging support for the Champagnat Trust.
But the pressure is really on entering the Olympics given Italy’s shock 10-8 semi-final loss to the USA in the World League Super Finals. A very controversial red card tipped the match. But then again, we all know Ashgrove boys eat pressure for breakfast.
