You are currently viewing Old Boys Pay Tribute To Our Beloved Mr Druce Upon His Retirement. Grade 5 From 2007 Provide The Ultimate Farewell Gift.

It has been a long, long journey but one typified by the greatest of kindness, care and compassion in accordance with the teachings of St Marcellin Champagnat.

And so, upon his retirement, our ever gentle Mr Druce had the (mis)fortune of being surrounded by our ever bouyant members of his exceptional grade 5 year of 2007 (Senior 2014), all now young Marist men. They joined with their Headmaster, Mr Peter McLoughlin, to present Michael with the ultimate gift – the famous giant collage lovingly created in 2009 by every single boy in the primary school – a sheer masterpiece from all those years ago!

The Primary School and the Learning Enrichment Centre at Ashgrove were always very special ‘Marist’ places because of his presence.

God Bless, Mr Druce – enjoy your retirement.
