Old Boys Announce the Passing of Jim Truscott OAM (1973)

It is with great sorrow the OBA announces the sudden passing of one of our most esteemed colleagues, James ‘Jim’ Truscott OAM (1973).

One of the great military heroes produced by the College, Jim served in the Army from 1975 to 2001 holding 6 command appointments and was also a member of the elite SAS.

A true Ashgrove man always, Jim was prolific in mountaineering and the author of numerous publications relating to business and leadership.

The entire Marist College Ashgrove Community send our condolences to Jim’s wife, Colette and to their four children.

May Saint Marcellin Champagnat and Mother Mary welcome Jim home. May perpetual light shine upon him.
