After the rain cleared, No 5 on the Flats (Des Connor Park) came alive with food, drink, music, dancing, laughter and cheer from the 800 there to support our young Old Boy, Charlie Lilley (2012). Charlie gave an inspirational welcome speech, full of class and courage, and joined not only his great OB mates but the many Ashgrove families from across the generations who took part in a long, long, long lunch. The Old Boys send their congratulations to the organisers and supporters who made the day so memorable. A very special effort.
