Ashgrove has always been about Family. And the Mohr Family sent seven of their sons to the College in four separate decades followed by a grandson in the fifth.

Although not attending Ashgrove, John Mohr, who as a young man served his nation with the peace keeping forces in Malaya, and his beloved wife, Pam (RIP), represented so much of that which is the essence of Ashgrove. Simplicity, Modesty, Humility. Family. On John’s passing, the entire Marist Ashgrove Community send our sincere condolences to Dan (1979), Clinton (1983), Shaun (1987), Tim (1988), Chad, Luke, Curtis (1997), Craig (2000), Damien (2000), Jacqui and Sonya, to grandson Campbell (2015) and their extended families.

John’s funeral will be held at Midday this Friday 20th January at the Mt Gravatt Cemetery and Crematorium, 620 Mains Road McGregor after which John will be laid to rest next to Pam.

May our Mother Mary and Saint Marcellin Champagnat welcome John home.
