MICHAEL BOHL (1979) DELIVERS AUSTRALIA 4 GOLD AND 4 BRONZE

The true class of multiple gold medallist Emma McKeon (7 medals) was shown by her gracious observation that she could not have done it without her coach, “Bohlie”. The same can be said of long standing superstar, Emily Seebohm, who resurrected her career under his guidance.

Poetry to the Ashgrove faithful but also an appropriate recognition of the College’s greatest ever swimmer and now Australian super coach, Michael Bohl (1979).

Michael’s humble nature and work ethic is reflected in the many outstanding champions he has produced and, more importantly, in the the way they conduct themselves. The Bohl family’s generosity and compassion for the swimmers he guides is legendary.

The entire Ashgrove community salutes Michael for his contribution to Australian Swimming and congratulates his brilliant proteges on their performances in Tokyo.
