The Old Boys’ Association advises members of the passing of Dr Chris Muir (1968 School Captain) on June 3, 2025.
Chris was a prominent Oral Surgeon but also made many great contributions to the Community and to Marist College Ashgrove. Chris was a past President of Rotary and President of the Alumni Friends of UQ where he generously raised much needed funds. Chris was also actively involved in many Charitable and Community organisations such as St Vincents de Paul, etc. Chris was dedicated to a life of service which was characterised with humility, simplicity and modesty.
The Old Boys pass on our sincere condolences to his beloved wife Dymphna and to Elspeth, Patrick (2004) and Alexander (2005) (RIP) and their families.
Chris’s Funeral Mass will be held at St Brigid’s Catholic Church, Musgrave Road, Red Hill at 11.30 am on Friday 13th June, 2025.
May Chris rest in everlasting life and eternal peace.
