Another frontier has been destroyed Old Boys.

Not content to pump out the hours as a partner with high profile law firm McInnes Wilson, Pat McGrath (1987), endured 2 years of 4 a.m. starts and endless open water training sessions before stepping into the English Channel, in pitch black, on 5th July.

Watched on by son Finn (2014), Pat emerged 16 hours later in France – a little bit tired and emotional, sick of jellyfish but having conquered one of the most famous challenges known to man.

The OBA extends its congratulations to Pat on such an incredible achievement. Everest?
