Old Boys are asked to pray for the repose of the soul of Fr Peter Conroy (1955) who passed away on 16th March 2020. Father Peter, who was ordained in 1962, was a close friend and Ashgrove colleague of Bishop Brian Heenan who is greatly saddened at his passing,
Father Peter retired in July 2016 from the parish of St Sebastian in Yeronga where he cared for the community for 39 years and was greatly loved.
A Vigil Mass for Fr Peter will be celebrated
at St Fabian’s Catholic Church, corner of Wilkie and Cardross St, Yeerongpilly
on Thursday 19 March at 6.00pm.
Fr. Peter’s funeral is on Friday at St Stephen’s Cathedral @ 10am.
