Dear Old Boys,
As we prepare to host the 2026 ACU Confraternity Rugby League Carnival, Marist College Ashgrove is inviting members of our Old Boys community to partner with the College in supporting the delivery of this significant event.
Confraternity is a major occasion for the College and the wider Marist community, welcoming schools, families and supporters from across Queensland. In hosting the carnival, our focus is on delivering a safe, high-quality and welcoming experience for all involved, and we are keen to engage Old Boys wherever possible in this important work.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Old Boys who may wish to support the carnival through either goods-in-kind or service-based partnerships, or through financial sponsorship.
With regards to Goods in Kind, we are currently looking to connect with Old Boys who may be able to assist in the following areas:
• Alcohol supply
• Night-time security
• Amenity hire (including portable toilets and change-room tents)
• Laundry services
• Cold room and freezer trailers
• Food trucks and coffee vans
Financial sponsorship contributions are also warmly welcomed and play an important role in supporting the logistics, infrastructure and overall delivery of the carnival – Please find attached the carnival sponsorship prospectus for your consideration.
Old Boys who partner with the College will be acknowledged as supporters of Confraternity 2026 and will benefit from meaningful association with one of Australia’s largest school rugby league events. Depending on the nature of the support, recognition opportunities may include acknowledgment in event materials, on-site signage, digital communications and association with the College and broader Marist community during the carnival week. Most importantly, partners will be directly contributing to the success of a major Marist event and supporting the next generation of students.
